MÜNSTER
An international hub for cell biology

Do you want to join a diverse, dynamic, and internationally minded scientific community?

Do you want to do research surrounded by experts in cell biology, mechanobiology and morphogenesis?

Do you want access to cutting-edge imaging, Drosophila facilities, and interdisciplinary collaboration every day?

Then join us in Münster. Our lab is embedded in a vibrant research community at the Multiscale Imaging Centre (MIC), offering world-class infrastructure and daily exposure to cutting-edge science. We are part of the SFB/CRC 1348 on dynamic cellular interfaces, providing access to the integrated graduate school and outstanding networking and training opportunities.

The MIC hosts the Münster Imaging Network (MIN), giving researchers access to state-of-the-art light microscopy platforms—including confocal, spinning disk, Airyscan, light-sheet, structured illumination, multiphoton imaging, FLIM, and TIRF—as well as expert support. Directly across the street, the Münster Nanofabrication Facility provides advanced tools for micro- and nanoengineering.

Together, these resources make Münster an ideal place for ambitious research and for building a creative, collaborative scientific career.
